Service Agreement

This Service Agreement outlines the terms and conditions under which Dove Ya Art provides its mobile art entertainment services. By booking with Dove Ya Art, the client agrees to the terms outlined below.

Booking & Payment

To secure a booking, clients must schedule in advance. Full payment is due prior to the event unless another arrangement has been confirmed in writing.

Accepted payment methods include

  • credit/debit cards payments may be completed directly through the website and do not require any additional contact.

  • Zelle payments are accepted; however, clients are required to call or email prior to submitting payment. A form containing all necessary event information must be completed and accepted before the payment process can proceed.

  • Cash/checks payments are accepted. Clients should email to request the appropriate mailing address. Payments should be sent promptly, as event preparation cannot begin until funds have been received.

Cancellations

Client Cancellations

  • Cancellations made 7 or more days before the scheduled event will receive a full refund.

  • Cancellations made 3–6 days prior to the event are eligible for a 50% refund.

  • No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 72 hours (3 days) of the event.

Cancellations by Dove Ya Art

In the rare event that Dove Ya Art must cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, clients will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule at no additional cost.

Rescheduling

  • Clients may request to reschedule an event with at least 72 hours’ notice, subject to availability.

  • Requests made with less than 72 hours’ notice may incur a $50 rescheduling fee.

  • All rescheduled events must take place within 60 days of the original date.

Refunds

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.

  • Please allow 5–10 business days for processing after confirmation.

  • No refunds will be given for no-shows or unused participant slots on the day of the event.

Weather & Emergencies

  • Outdoor events: In cases of severe weather (e.g., rain, thunderstorms, or high winds), events may be rescheduled at no extra cost, based on availability.

  • Indoor events: Weather-related cancellations are not typically accepted.

  • Emergencies such as serious illness, accidents, or facility closures outside the client’s control may qualify for rescheduling at our discretion. Documentation may be required, and Dove Ya Art reserves the right to decline or apply a fee if the situation does not meet policy standards.

Please notify us of any emergency as soon as possible.

Travel Fee

A $25 travel fee applies for any location outside a 20-mile radius of Diamond Bar, California. This fee covers transportation, time, and setup logistics. This travel fee includes parking costs, so no additional parking charges will be added for clients outside the 20-mile radius.

For service locations within 20 miles, clients are responsible for any paid parking required at the appointment location.
If free street parking, a driveway, or designated guest parking is not available, any parking fees (metered parking, garage fees, or lot fees) will be billed after the class has ended.

Participant & Safety Guidelines

  • Participants are welcome to keep the artwork they create. However, clients and participants may not sell, reproduce, or distribute any of Dove Ya Art’s original designs, templates, or concepts. All instructional content, branding, and designs remain the intellectual property of Dove Ya Art.

  • Our sessions involve materials such as paint, glue, scissors, and other art supplies. By participating, clients acknowledge that these activities carry some inherent risks, including minor injuries, allergic reactions, or staining of clothing and property.

  • Dove Ya Art is not responsible for any injury, allergic reaction, property damage, or staining that occurs during participation, unless caused by gross negligence.

  • Efforts are made to maintain the condition of the space; however, creative activities may result in minor splatter or residue. Clients are responsible for preparing the space and safeguarding valuable or sensitive items.

Supervision & Accessibility

  • Clients are responsible for the supervision of all participants, particularly minors, seniors, or individuals with special needs.

  • Dove Ya Art staff facilitate creative instruction but are not responsible for behavioral management, medical needs, or individual care.

  • Clients must provide a clean, safe, and accessible space and notify us in advance of any special access or parking requirements.

  • Dove Ya Art reserves the right to end a session early, without refund, if the environment is unsafe or if participants engage in disrespectful or dangerous behavior.

Allergies & Sensitivities

It is the client’s responsibility to notify Dove Ya Art in advance of any known allergies or sensitivities among participants. While we make reasonable efforts to accommodate, we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment.

Liability

By booking, the client agrees to release and hold harmless Dove Ya Art and its representatives from any liability related to personal injury, property damage, or other claims arising from participation, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.

Photography & Media Use

Dove Ya Art may occasionally take photographs or short videos during events for use in social media or marketing materials. By participating, you grant permission for Dove Ya Art to use these images unless you notify us in writing beforehand. We will never include names or identifying information without explicit consent.

Agreement

By booking with Dove Ya Art, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all terms outlined in this Service Agreement.
